Manager Resources

Becoming a Manager

Team Managers are one of the most important roles within a team with Arrowhead Youth Lacrosse. As a Team Manager, your job is to keep the parents/players informed on news and updates related to the the team. A general overview of the role can be found below.

COMMUNICATION

Team managers provide a consistent line of communication to the team about weekly practices, games, and upcoming tournaments. This can be done through email or the Crossbar communication function. Coaches may also ask the team manager to communicate other necessary information to the team as needed.

HOME GAMES

Team managers will need to provide a blank scoresheet for the scorekeeper at each home game. After each game, the team manager will collect the scoresheet and scribe sheet from the respective volunteers and provide to the team's head coach. The team manager will also be responsible for paying the referees at each home game using the provided referee money given at the beginning of the season.

TOURNAMENTS

Tournaments are registered for by the Board of Directors before the season begins and paid for by Arrowhead Youth Lacrosse. The team manager for each team is responsible for setting up a sign up for parents to provide snacks at each tournament.
